NAVAir Approaches

NAVAir Approaches is a Terminal Approach Procedures Viewer With electronic copies of all the approach plates you need for your flight, you never have to worry about carrying paper plates and managing cumbersome updates. Choose plates to take on your flight based on your flight plan or anticipated route, or take them all (you'll need a big storage card). NAVAir Approaches is based on the digital approach procedures from the FAA NOCA division. These digital images can be displayed at many different zoom ranges (you set the zoom increments, so you decide what's right for you), in night mode or landscape or portrait mode - making NAVAir Approaches the most versatile electronic plates product on the market. Like all NAVAir products, NAVAir approaches features: Stylus-free operation for fingertip access A simple, intuitive user interface - designed for pilot workflow An intelligent management utility for managing the update process Full utilization of small screens for the plate Integration with NAVAir and NAVAirWX (call the plates up from within the moving map) Unique features such as: Screen tap navigation - reposition the plate by tapping a corner of the screen Deck Builder - to build and store a collection of plates for a trip (automatically updated if the plate is updated) Page forward and back - to "flip through" the plates at an airport or in a deck Night Mode display - white on black display preserves your night vision Incremental zoom - you set the zoom ranges to suit your preferences NAVAir Approaches works on your Desktop, Notebook or Tablet PC and your PDA. A PC based management utility allows you to easily select approaches for your flight. Review them in advance, print them if you wish (1,2,4 or 8 to a page) and take them with you.
