NAVAirWX brings real time XM WX weather into your cockpit
For safety and comfort, nothing beats real time, broadcast weather in your cockpit. Now you can have up to date NEXRAD radar, current METARS, real time TFRs, lightning strikes, storm cell movements, cloud tops and more in a convenient portable package.
NAVAirWX brings real time weather into your cockpit using XM WX Satellite Weather . With satellite broadcast to portable or TSO'd weather receivers and portable PDA, EFB or Tablet PC displays, you can get accurate and timely WX overlaid on your NAVAir screen.
NAVairWX was the first to integrate XMWX Satellite Weather with navigation and moving map functions. They still lead the pack in presentation, integration and weather products.

With NAVAirWX, you get fingertip access to the most up to date weather information available, and it's integrated into the moving map so that the weather becomes part of the situational awareness, rather than a separate item.
METARs and TAFs are color-coded on the moving map - so you can get a good visual indication of conditions on the ground, no matter what your altitude. And the same colod coded symbols appear on the NEAREST screen, so you have all the information that you need to make a quick decision on where to land. You can access weather reports and forecasts from the FIND function, so you can easily check the weather at your destination while you're waiting for takeoff.
NAVAirWX has unique, patent-pending Echo Tops with altitude finder. You can set the slider to find an altitude above, below or between cloud layers where you can fly in comfort. And the Winds at Altitude will tell you if the winds are working with you or against you at that altitude.
Lightning with history (another unique NAVAir feature) gives you a view of the speed and direction of convective activity.
