Sam Lyon's love of aviation since childhood led him down the road to his present career as a world-renowned aviation artist. His paintings can be found at military bases, museums, aviation gift shops, and in pilots' art collections throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Through his membership in the Air Force Art Program, Sam's painting "Lead Solo" graces the Air Force Art Hall in the Pentagon.

A clipped wing J-3 Cub flies over the Sentimental Journey Fly-In that's held in Lock Haven, Pa., each June. The background shows a lot of what's happening on the ground. The 17" x 26" prints are available in Limited Edition sizes of 45 AP and 450 S/N.
