Product Review:

Excellent resource book containing extensive weather related information. Plenty of details to keep even the most weather-avid pilots interested. Would also be good for those not into flying, as a weather manual.

Winner of the 1996 "Excellence Award in International Competition"
(awarded by the Society of Technical Communication)

Jeppesen's Aviation Weather is the most comprehensive text ever published on the subject of meteorology for pilots.

Although it is designed for, and in use in, college-level aviation weather courses, it is not written in a technical manner but rather offers practical knowledge for pilots so that they can make intelligent decisions about weather. It also provides answers to all FAA written exam questions dealing with the subject of weather.

Aviation Weather contains over 400 pages, but don't let it's large size scare you: it presents the material in a precise and intelligible manner. Whether you have 10 or 10,000 hours, you'll gain a new understanding of the environment you fly in with this excellent reference book.
