Instead of compromising performance with one lens color for all conditions, the Aviation Array lets you swap in a new set of lenses to maximize visual acuity when the sun fades or flares. Switching in new lenses is intuitive and swift a five-second job that provides hours of increased comfort and performance. High contrast, light transmitting lenses make better use of the light you have in overcast or hazy conditions. Darker lenses provide more protection against glare-induced fatigue in bright conditions.

All three lens sets utilize Oakley's lightweight Plutonite lens material -- passing ANSI standards for optical clarity and high mass/high velocity impact protection. • Persimmon: Transmits 59% of visible light, enhance detail in flat, overcast light or hazy conditions. Contrast vision improved at dusk. Ability to pick out distant rotating beacons at dusk is much easier with this lens.
