About the Author: David Diamond is a private pilot... not a flight instructor. He has no interest in flying for any reason besides the enjoyment of it. Diamond was also a founding member of the 80s rock group, Berlin, and it was during his band's first tour he experienced flight in a small airplane for the first time.
