The PI-135 is our most affordable, fully procedural system. It is built around the Pro Panel II Flight Console and can be used for complete startup, flight, and shutdown procedures. This system is recommended for instructors, flight schools, or universities that want complete procedural training capabilities in a moderate price range. It is also a great introduction for non-instrument students to basic aircraft operating procedures. The Pro Panel is equipped with a Hobbs meter and a panel on/off key lock which make it a good choice for flight schools that want to closely monitor simulation use time for billing purposes. With the PI-135 setup you can comply with section 61.57(c)(1) for recent instrument experience (for instrument currency requirements). It lets students log 2.5 hrs of simulation time for private pilots, 10 hrs of simulation time for instrument students, and can be used for RFE instrument. This is a complete FAA approved package that includes: - Elite Basic ATD software
- Elite SEL and MEL piston aircraft
- Elite AP-3000 avionics panel
- Elite MEL and SEL throttle quadrant attachments
- Elite Pro Panel II Console (includes built-in yoke)
- Elite Rudder Pedals
- AOPA ASF Integrated Course Outline and Training Syllabus
The only things in addition to the PI-135 that you'll need are a Windows XP computer (that meets the minimum system requirements for Elite software) and a monitor (at least 19' recommended).
