I purchased a replica of a Chance Vought F4U-4 Corsair. It is actually an F4U-4N (night fighter variant), as the radar dome apparatus is attached to the right wing. The decals are realistic, and portray an actual US Marines Corsair from the Korean Conflict era (1950-53), and the tail code decal indicates it represents a Corsair that flew with Marine Fighter/Attack Squadron VMA-312 during the Korean Conflict. So all that is quite realistic. The Corsair is loaded with ordinance, ready to take off on it's next mission...belly drop-tank for extrea fuel, two bombs (probably 500-pounders each), and eight HVAR Rockets. This configuration is consistent with the mission of the VMA-312 Corsairs in Korea: close air support for the Marines on the ground, i.e. attacking enemy ground targets. My only complaint is unlike most of the other "warbirds" in the series, which use clear plastic canopies, the Corsair has silver paint where the canopy windows would be located!
