I am a CFII going to college full time. So I do not have the opportunity to fly and teach as much as I would like. I needed a IR program that would not cost in the thousands like some of the other simulators. If you have any life style similar (money and budget) to mine then ON TOP 8 is for you. After buying and practicing my approach procedures with ON TOP 8, I noticed a big improvement in my instrument skills in the real airplane. Even though I stayed current by what the FARs say, I did not feel proficient. ON TOP 8 now helps me hold that self confidence of proficiency. Trust me, I do not regret buying this product at all.

Certainly, for the money, this bundle is a great buy. Everything works well together and is easy to set up. I can fly any published approach I want in real time and then analyze my performance. It is great for practicing procedures and working with checklists. The controls are very sensitive and take some practice to learn smooth control of the aircraft. The only other negative is the cumbersome way you have to change avionics frequencies. With the controls so sensitive it is very hard to change frequencies and retain good control of the airplane. When considering the price of flying, though, the IFR pilot can get a lot of practice without paying much for the "air time".
