Like all kneeboards, this one is a compromise of competing needs. I switched from a soft tri-fold type. I like keeping all my approach charts in the three ring binder. When unfolded, though, it is unwieldy. It takes some experimentation to figure out where to put your flight plan, your note pad, etc. If you put your flight plan on the top when folded, all your plates, etc. are inside--a pain. If you put it on the clip inside, you can't support the pad when writing (it's in space). Well made, and a step up from what I've used before.

Five stars for customer service! I feel compelled to update my review... Marty Scott gave me some pointers in how to better use the board after he read my previous AvShop review. His advice, combined with photos, got me over the hump. Key piece of advice: keep the board open, and strap to your left leg. The charts in the three ring binder will be up against the side panel if you are in a cozy Bonanza like me...so you need to remove and clip them in the center section to use them for your approach. In practice, this works fine. Nice Velcro holders for your pencil and highlighter. Excellent product support from both AvShop and Marty Scott. Five stars for customer service! Greg

A great kneeboard! It took me an hour or so of flight time to get used to the A1-MC, and now I'd hate to fly without it. There are multiple clips to hold things, and the elastic bands really help to keep things in place. With the kneeboard closed, I like to keep my flight log on the outermost clipboard. Then, with it open, I keep my chart folded and secured with the top elastic band. Approach plates are kept in plastic sleeves which are stored underneath the folded chart. Then, when preparing for an approach, I just lift up the bottom section of my chart, pull the correct approach plate out, and secure it on top of the chart. I keep paper for note-taking on the right clipboard. The construction is top-notch and quite sturdy. I was really impressed. The customer service was also fantastic. I contacted Marty Scott (the guy who makes these things) because my new puppy used the kneestrap as a chew toy. Within an hour, he had replied to my e-mail and sent a replacement kneestrap and buckles. This w

I have tried a variety of "soft" knee-boards with mixed success. With the Orga-knee-zer, I strap the board onto my left leg, keep approach plates, checklists, and destination + alternate airport pages in sleeves on the left side, and keep a writing pad for comm on the right side. I can then very easily take out or replace the page(s) I need from the left side at each stage of flight. Like most knee-boards, it really isn't big enough for charts unless they are folded down to one section so I keep them up in my face on a yoke clip. I would like to see the board be about 1/2" wider since pages I put on the right side tend to get pinched. I like the added clipboard on the "top" side but haven't figured out how to use it effectively yet in flight. Overall, after three or four flights with the board, I am very pleased with the "Orga-knee-zer" and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.

I searched quite a bit to find a kneeboard that would work well for me. I'm left handed, fly a Piper Arrow & Warrior (i.e. not too much room), and working on my instrument rating (i.e. lots of stuff to keep up with). This kneeboard / organizer does better than anything else I've tried. The quality is superior. The only downfall is the price. I'm glad I made the purchase, and only wish I had done so sooner.

This kneeboard is organized very well. I like the sturdiness and how everything is held. The kneeboard is also very compact and doesn't take up too much room. Highly recommended, but a bit pricey for what you get.

This is a great kneeboard. I have tried 4-5 different ones including the Zulu board, and this blows them all away. I am left handed and it works great for me. I just have to use the clips on the bottom instead of the top. I have used it for several IFR trips and using the side insert plate holders with this made short work of planning and using my charts and plates. I also have a 3inch cushion on my seat and I still have full range of the yoke (with product in open configuration). Only thin that would make it better would be if it could be disassembled to be reconfigured for a lefty.

I am still under training at the moment. I wanted to get some kneeboard that would last for years and hold many things, such as taxi diagrams and charts. I spent a lot of time on the internet referring to reviews of many different products and came across this one. It was pricey but the reviews were all positive so I decided to give it a shot. Oh boy, was it worth it! Simply a state of workmanship. This kneeboard is made like a TANK. It reminds me of a famous German camera, Leica (if you are a photographer, you know what I mean!). It has unlimited possibilities when it comes to how much documents this kneeboard can carry. I will be flying with this kneeboard for many years, even after all the paint has come off! Great stuff!

The best kneeboard I have ever had. It has a very intuitive design and is quite durable. Though it is a little on the spendy side I would still buy it if I were you.

I have used several kneeboards since learning to fly and am still looking for the one that satisfies all of my needs. The orga-Knee_Zer is about as close as I have come. In fact, if weren't for flying a Navion where the yoke sits low, it would be the one. While flying my clubs 182, it works great. The layout and flexibility are the best.

This is my first kneeboard and I'm very satisfy with the kneeboard. It is very confortable. I can keep allmy things organized and accessible during my flights. I give 4 star to the value, because is expensive. Finally, I recommend this item.
