Comments: I use the 3 Lever Yoke on my DELL Inspiron Laptop using the USB port. I run the On-Top Version 7 software and have really enjoyed practicing approaches, holding, and flying the different types of aircraft. As a CFII, it can be useful for ground training to show students the procedures to be used while performing an approach. I find it especially useful to teach Holding because of the Map feature which shows the actual track the aircraft flew. I installed it off the CD and was up and running quickly. |

Comments: Exactly what I wanted. Works great. Exactly what I wanted. Works great. Software easy to install and configure. Makes my flying experience very realistic. I'm also a license private pilot. Table-top clamps could be just a little sturdier, but no real complaint. Make a force-feedback version, and I'll buy that one too! |

Comments: Poor woman's cockpit! Can't afford the REAL lesssons yet. I purchased Yoke to simulate the real thing, as is it's function, to offset the cost of flight training until I can save my sheckles for the real thing. The flight yoke pull and push is very real, as my parnter gave me the gift of an 'Introductory Flight.' The trim, however is really hard to move and not realistic, I am still working with it, however. Although the placement of the buttons and knobs cannot fully simulate the location in the cockpit, the simulated multi-tasking between physical pull, push, right hand, left hand is good practice. Not being a robot, I believe transitioning into the true cockpit will be a small act indeed. That trim wheel though, how do I make that respond better? No regrets on my purchase whatsoever, now to find out how to get a second USB port on my laptop for the Pro Pedals!!! Comments: I am really impressed with this ch product yoke. I am really impressed with this ch product yoke. It handles perfectly and smooth.Being a fighter pilot, it is pretty different from flying an F-16. I have flown a general aviation aircraft and it feels just the same as this yoke. |

Comments: Really enjoy the most realistic feel of flying I get. The unit performed as advertised. As my friends tried it they had the same response. This is as close as it gets without the wings. My oreder was handled promply and I was flying in no time at all. |

Comments: Excellent product, I inverted the yoke so that the "pod" is under the desk, and the control rod isn't hitting my keyboard anymore. The keyboard doesn't have to be moved, and is always in reach. Not a simple task but can be done. You have to drill the control mounting hole in the control rod thru. Be sure and get it straight.. Cut the wires that come thru the control rod to re-solder later. Fish wires thru new hole. Invert the yoke and remount the controls, solder the wires back together and it is much easier to use, takes up only 2 or 3 inches of the desk... Sam... |

Comments: It is a good unit to get some basic training, especially when used with the pedals... I use it with Microsoft Flight Simulator. But it is a simulator, and the controls do not work that realistically compared to real flight. Their sensitivity can not be adjusted to match the Cessna 172, though they can approximate it somewhat. All in all, I learned something from using the unit, and happy I got it. I stopped using it on the final stages of my real flight training, because it was counter productive at that stage. |

Comments: I can agree 100% with all comments to date. I bought the entire package (CH Flight Sim Yoke, USB, CH Pro Pedals, USB, and FS2002 Pro) and have been very impressed! Great service, easy setup, easy use. I use the simulator, yoke and pedals to practice the maneuvers that I learn in my real flight training. I can simulate my flight training at home for a lot less money! Although the throttle, prop, and mixture controls are not realistically placed (they are push-pull controls in a Cessna 152/172), they function in the same manner. The entire setup gets you as close to flying the real thing as possible without getting into the highly advanced simulators (PCATD,Frasca etc.) The trim control on the yolk is on top of the left handle. I suspect the previous comment on difficulty with the trim is due to the operator using the wheel on the yolks base instead of the toggle switch on top of the left yolk handle). Great products! |

Comments: Great value. A low cost solution for reinforcing what you have learned in flight school. I find myself progressing faster in my lessons with the use of the yoke and flight simulator software. The yoke has given me the opportunity to review material and practice maneuvers until I have them mentally correct. It also allows me to have a lot of fun in bad weather! Sure beats a joystick when you want to fly a Cessna! I recommend that you purchase the rudder pedals also. AvShop is number one with me! |

Comments: I save considerable dollars on a daily basis staying sharp using this CH Sim yoke with the companion pedals. I perform daily IFR work, even if just for an hour. I am up there on a quick mission with realistic concerns: raising the gear, tapping the breaks, power reduction, trimming, leaning, closing the cowl flaps - this work is valuable, and can be done quickly upstairs at home. The quality is well worth the value. |

Comments: Get this if you want to practice your throttle and propeller speed work. It makes flying the sims a lot better than a joy stick or mouse. While it can be an adventure to get it mounted just right depending on your computer desk, it is real sim flying like the Frasca at most schools. The engine will quit if you don't get your throttle and prop set so you have to pay attention just like in the left seat at the airport. You've spent more for less stuff so just get it and get to work on proficiency!! |

Comments: The CH yoke is excellent. For realism, the flight sim software one uses is important as well. X-Plane by Laminar Research puts out one of the most accurate flight sims I've ever tried, and the yoke compliments the sim beautifully. It is very sensitive, responds with no lags, and very sturdy, when mounted properly. Good product!! |

Comments: This device certainly add realism to elite v8. Flying without it would not be possible, in my opinion. I would like to suggest 2 points where improvements can be made. 1st, the table clamps should be stronger/bigger as the yoke has the capability of loosening as one leans down on it. And 2nd, it would be better if the gear and flap levers were further to the right so one does not have to reach behind the yoke itself. Overall, excellent and it goes hand-in-hand with the CH rudder pedals. |

Comments: It's a very good way to be closer to reality for the price! What I like about it: I haven't crashed yet in the B747 and the 777 like I used to with the keyboard. LOL. The only time I use my Keyboard is to change radio frequencies and autopilot settings. What I don't Like... Plastic quality I believe in about 3 to 4 months of usage the springs will be loose and the plastic as well. Would I buy it again? YES! Why? because the good reasons I got. I really recommend the Yoke to everyone! |

Comments: Very satisfied, the clamping system could be improved but works reasonably well. On a real plane, you normally have your hand on the throttle during those procedures. In this case it makes it a little harder because the throttle handle is the first on the left of all three handles. Although it is this way on a real plane, in this case, maybe it would have been easier if this would be the first handle to the right. Overall very satisfied. |

Comments: A worthwhile upgrade from a traditional joystick. Solid construction, and very easy to install. Worked out of the box with MS Flight Sim 2004. The switches for flaps and gear are great and the buttons are well positioned. |

Comments: My passion is flying the 777. I've always used a joystick to fly until recently. The yoke was worth every penny. If your going to fly general aviation, you want this CH yoke. |

I have a friend that shares my love for flying and he allowed me to use his CH Flight Sim Yoke (3-Lever USB)about a year ago. Needless to say I feel in love it.That was may first contact with the product. But I didn't want to pay the going price of $159.00 at the time. CH Flight Sim Yoke just makes the flying seem more Realic, Easier and Enjoyable. I Highly Recommend this yoke! |

Comments: I am a student pilot. The first time I used the yoke, the back pressure felt as real as flying a real airplane. It does a great job, very realistic. The mount needs a little work if you are mounting to a thin top. (Any Ideas?) |

Comments: So much better than cursors or joystick! Truly a great piece of work. Finally you can get the same feeling on the ground as up in the air in your favorite SEL plane... The resistance in both pitch and roll is as close to the real thing as possible. The hat switch is great to "turn" your head inside the cockpit. I took away one star because of the trim that is not quite it: It is too small, hard to turn and only goes for a quarter turn or so...I do not believe it would be hard for them to make it a bit bigger and same feeling as in the plane... Other than that: GREAT! |
