Comments: I have used the Jeppesen Guided Flight Discovery Manuals for Private Pilot and Instrument/Commercial and found them to be superior to other manuals I've seen.

Comments: Great resource, has everything a private pilot needs! Good book, I am a student pilot, 15 years old, and everything is easy to understand and very accurate. I think everyone training for a private pilot liscence and even all the private pilots should have one.

Comments: I am using the Jepp Private Pilot Manual to teach a private student. It's awesome. Although it can be a bit heavy on the Jeppesen marketing at times, it is a very thorough syllabus that both myself and my student are enjoying.

Comments: Wow, I already had a ground school course but kept referring to an old edition of this manual that someone gave me 5 years ago. I finally came to my senses and bought an upgraded edition.

The Best Private Pilot Textbook Ever!

Comments: As an experienced CFI, I ALWAYS require my students to get this book, simply because it is the best book out there, hands-down. A must-have for private pilot applicants.
