Comments: VFR Radio Procedures in the USA is a great tool for beginning pilots. Radio fear hits me like a leap into an ice bath. I freeze in panic at the thought of communicating the wrong information and sounding like a jittering idiot. This little concise book has helped thaw my jaw so at least now I know the message I need to communicate through chattering teeth. It breaks down the key communication components necessary based on the air space you are flying in. It is not thick with theory but provides just enough to bag the basics. As a new student pilot, I think this is easy to read and well worth the small price.
