Since the connection to the mobile phone requires plugging the headset into the intercom system, and requires the system to have electrical power, it loses its potential as a safety item. It would have helped if a small 9V battery box had been offered to complement the headset. All that said, for under $125 it's still a very good value.

While I've only had the opportunity to use my new A250's once so far, they're markedly better than the old ASA's my FBO offers. The noise reduction is good, the fit comfortable, and the volume controls convenient. Not an exceptional headset, but a great value for the $125.00. On my next flight, I plan on testing the mobile phone feature (of course, while on the ground only).

I like this headset. It isn.t the best headset on the market but a nice starter or backup set. I do not recommend buying this for use without the replacement ear foams (Light speed.s replacements), they make a huge difference. The only other problem I.ve found is the sides tent to slide down, You just need to bend the medal that slides to keep them on your head (at least when you have a smaller head).

Good headset if you don.t do a lot of flying or as a backup, it did get me through my private license, but now that I fly more, it.s my passenger headset.
