I have had this headset since it came out: I think over 10 years. I fly significantly too. It has great noise cancelling and cuts out passive noise too. There are down points.... The mike boom works wonderfully and has not given me any issues whatsoever. It is so durable and long-lasting except that the ear cushions have deteriorated. That, and on cross country slights longer than 1.5 hours, they are a little tight.

Have used mine for almost 2 years now. Noise-reduction is very good when flying with pistons. With input for a MP3 I'm able to listen to music during level transit. Only minus is its size taking some space around my head, but a Bose is on the whish list, but expensive...

I have two Light Speed Headsets. One about 6 to seven years old a 15XL and a newer model 203G. Both work very well and as good as any Boze I've heard so far. Both have had to have repair. One failed and the other was stepped on by a passenger. both were repaired without cost and in a very timely manner. They even upgraded the 15XL after the warranty period expired. I intend to purchase at least another regular and possible a Zulu for myself.
